Hello I drive between 35000km and 40000km per year and I change my car every 3 to 3 years for a new car, should I still be driving diesel or have I realistic options
Hi Noel,
At the moment, you need to stick with diesel. Until pure electric cars evolve enough to have 500-600km of range in all weathers, with seriously rapid charging times, you’re going to find a current EV impractical for the distances you do… and you’re not going to save any money by going for a plug-in hybrid petrol, mild hybrid or plain petrol car. You need to look at diesel, but there is also the possibility of a Mercedes badged ‘de’, which is a plug-in hybrid diesel. However, these are not cheap.
