With the rise of SUVs of all sizes, other body shapes are undoubtedly dwindling away. It doesn't help that some big markets, such as the UK, has never really liked the traditional four-door saloon. That means some are being replaced by five-door hatchbacks that look a little like a saloon (i.e. the Opel Insignia and Peugeot 508), while others are just being phased out completely.
