I need a tow vehicle from middle of market.
I am looking for a vehicle to tow a horsebox so capable of towing 1900 or 2000 kg I will only be towing 5 % of my time so need this vehicle to work mainly from that point of view from a tax and fuel efficiency point of view as will be doing approx 1600 km per month have been looking at crv as have honda civic and cars seem to get very high in engine size also car brands that can tow are high end eg bmw whereas I want to stay in middle of market,any advice ?

The CR-V is a good choice - an excellent tow car and an excellent car all round. If you can, go for the most recent model, updated in 2015 with the new 160hp 1.6 diesel and the improvements to refinement and steering.
