I need a large economical tow car.
Hi Carzone My question is I need a car to tow my 1.5 ton caravan probably 3/4 times a year and would love some feedback. We were hoping for something economical with low tax Bob

Hi Robert,
We always defer in these matters to the experts at the Caravan and Camping Club when it comes to tow cars and this year they gave their best tow car overall award to the Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI, and it’s certainly economical and scores well for tax costs. It would be hard to recommend anything much smaller than the Superb, as you’re towing a significant weight of caravan.
