Question: Can you recommend a car for me?

Looking for recommendations for a reliable, good on fuel, good to maintain, lots of boot space car. I am self employed, need to carry a lot of equipment and do fairly high milage on anything from motorways to boreens! Looking for diesel or maybe a hybrid? Budget wise anything up to 15/16k but would not mind a cheaper car as well. Had a bad experiance with a Fiat so not one of those! Was considering skoda yeti, opal mireva, nissan Pulsar/quasqui, citron berlingo. Open to suggestions and no-no's!! Thanks!!

Answer:

Hi Laura,

Well, of the ones you've listed, we'd suggest that the Skoda Yeti or Nissan Qashqai are the best to go for. They're both ruggedly reliable and good to drive and should perform well considering the broad spread of driving you're describing. Also worth looking at a Kia Sportage or a Mazda CX-5.
