Best value family car for €7,000?
What's the best value for money, family car that I could get with 7000e? I was looking at a 2009 1.8 Ford Mondeo.

You could certainly do a lot worse than the Mondeo – it's sturdy, decent reliability, roomy and very good to drive. Also worth checking out the Volkswagen Passat of similar vintage with the 1.6 TDI diesel engine, or try a Toyota Avensis too.
