A really nice car – hugely comfortable and mostly very reliable too. The 2.4 diesel can eat its exhaust gas recirculation valve and you need to make sure that the automatic gearbox, if fitted, is shifting smoothly and picking up gear properly. Any hesitation or rough shifts mean the gearbox is broken and it’s expensive to replace. Check for excess wear and tear to the leather seats (if fitted) and they have a tendency to go through brake discs a bit quickly. Other than that, a good car.
