Without knowing the engine fuel/size, trim grade and mileage of the car, it’ll be difficult to say exactly, but 161-plate Insignias start at around €15,000 for low-mileage 1.6 CDTi versions – or better grade, 2.0-litre diesels with six-figure mileages on the clock – up to €24,000 for the lowest miles, highest-grade 170hp diesels. If you’ve got a 2.0-litre CDTi, or your trim grade is SRi, SRi Nav or Elite, or your annual mileage is low (say, 20,000km or less), then you can start adding on more money from the €15,000 starting price.
