The Insignia is a well built car and if, as you say, it's been properly looked after and serviced then it should be fine. The only troublesome areas are electronics (the central locking and alarm can be a problem) and the seal around the boot, which can leak and let in water. Check the clutch too for any weakness (make sure the gearshift is smooth and accurate) and while a high mileage car shouldn't have any problems, keep an eye on the diesel particulate filter.
