If you're talking about the M5 that was still on sale in 2008 (the model originally launched in 2005) then its 357g/km emissions rating means annual road tax of €2,350. The newer model was launched at the end of 2011 with much lower emissions (232g/km), but it's still in Band G costing €2,350 per year to tax.
