I am looking for a small van, with a 1.2 or 1.3 engine, so it will be cheaper to tax privately, iv been looking at the Opel Combo, and the Fiat Doblo, but I haven't heard of the Fiat Qubo, I really wanted the 3 seater which Citroen do, but that only comes in a 1.6 engine I think
Hi John,
The Qubo is basically a Citroen Nemo (and/or Peugeot Jumpy) with a different body and a Fiat badge, and comes with the same 1.3-litre diesel engine as the Opel Combo. Confused? Don’t be — all car makers share van chassis and bodies, so there are lots that are basically the same as one another. The Qubo came as a proper small passenger car, which could be a better solution to your issues. You could buy it and benefit from the low CO2-based tax, and then just fold the back seats flat when you need to carry a load.
