Well, look at coupes and cabriolets for less than ten grand and you’ve got a wealth of choice: an Audi TT or A5, for example, or a BMW 1 or 3 Series Coupe, or a Mercedes CLK soft-top, or a Nissan 350Z. Don’t forget the Mazda MX-5, either, which is plentiful for less than €10,000. However, two classics caught our eye while looking for you; a 1989 Porsche 944 2.7 Coupe for €9,900 and a 1986 Nissan 300ZX Targa for €50 more. Neither is going to be something you can run on a shoestring but, if you look after them, there’s every chance their value could go up from this point onwards, instead of down.
