If the Caddy is already in Ireland and registered here then there's nothing complicated about this, but I assume that's not the case, and it's in the UK on UK plates. In that case, if you've owned it for longer than six months in the UK, and can prove that, you should be able to import it into Ireland and re-register it with minimal costs in your own name. Only then can you sell it on to another Irish resident.
