Does an X-Trail's chain need replacing?
Hi I have 2016 1.6 x trail doe the chain need to be replaced on these it has 165k on clock at the minute

Both petrol and diesel 1.6-litre X-Trails have indeed got timing chains, which are designed to last the life of the engine. They do not have scheduled replacement.
