Belt or chain on a 2011 Polo?
Hi - my son is looking at a VW polo 1.2 petrol 2011 - does the car have a belt or chain? what mileage should a belt be changed at? does a chain need to be replaced? thank you - any advice would be appreciated

All the 1.2-litre petrol engines of that age use timing chains, which are usually designed for the life of the engine.
