A really nice car, but coming to the end of its lifespan now and in some areas it shows. The recent update, which included Volvo’s excellent new 2.0-litre diesel D3 and D4 engines, was well worth it, making the XC60 far smoother and nicer to drive, but it’s not quite as spacious as it should be nor as some of the competition. Hugely safe though, which is a major consideration if you’re using it as family car, and with good reliability too.,
