Hi Looking at a 2007 Volvo S80 D5 Auto lux 156,000 km full service just done with timing belt kit and also gearbox oil changed for €5000.What do you think from safety reliability and comfort or A6,520d ??

Hi Justin,
Aside from the fact that you will pay through the nose for tax on a 2.4-litre engine, pre-2008, that’s a lovely car. Terrific quality and solid reliability (and with a full service history you should have nothing to worry about for a while) and although it’s not as sharp to drive as an A6 or 5 Series, it is much, much more comfortable and a terrific long-haul cruiser.
