Honda's 192 offer
Honda is laying out its 192 stall and will be offering Irish buyers a series of potentially money-saving choices for their July new car purchase.
Universal Honda, the Irish Honda importer, will be offering the Civic 1.6 iDTEC diesel model, for a limited time, with a choice of 3.9 per cent APR finance or; €3,000 guaranteed minimum trade-in value or; a complimentary upgrade to a nine-speed automatic gearbox or; a complimentary 'platinum' service plan and a year's free motor tax or; a €1,000 deposit contribution.
Honda's pointing out that not only was the Civic's 1.6 diesel one of the first engines in the world to pass strict new tests, the car also comes with the Honda Sensing safety suite, which includes traffic sign recognition, lane keeping assist and more. The 1.6 iDTEC engine is also capable of combined fuel consumption of 4.1 litres per 100km (more than 65mpg) even on the tougher WLTP testing regime.
Speaking at the launch of the "High Five" campaign, John Saunders, Sales and Marketing Director of Universal Honda, commented: "We are very excited to be bringing back the 'High Five' campaign to our customers for the 192 July registration period. Civic continues as one of the cornerstones of the Honda range here in Ireland and the newly refined diesel engine really offers our customers leading reliability, fuel economy and driving pleasure for which the model has long been renowned. With these five extremely competitive offers there is now an option for everybody, meaning our customers can drive away in a new Civic diesel from as little as €299 per month or choose an upgrade to the nine-speed automatic at no added cost."
Prices for the Civic five-door start from €24,350, or from €27,750 for the four-door Civic sedan.
