Revealed just last week at the Paris Motor Show, the refreshed Audi A6 has now gone on sale in Ireland, priced from €44,750, with deliveries beginning in November.
From launch, the new A6 will be available with a choice of seven engines; two petrol and five diesel units offer power outputs ranging from 150- to 320hp. The facelift also marks the introduction of 'Ultra' models to the A6 range with 150- and 190hp TDI diesel variants that emit 109- and 110g/km respectively. The high-performance Audi S6 model, with its 450hp 4.0-litre TFSI engine, uses cylinder-on-demand technology to cut its emissions to 214g/km.
All engines, bar the 3.0-litre BiTurbo TDI unit, are available with either a newly designed six-speed manual gearbox or, for a premium of €2,300, a seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission that replaces the eight-speed Multitronic unit of old.
Already generously equipped, the refreshed A6 now benefits from the addition of Xenon lights, MMI navigation, acoustic glass and an anti-glare interior mirror to the SE trim. A new SE Business specification has also been added below S line featuring electric front seats, fine grain ash wood inlays, four-zone climate control, MMI Navigation plus and 18-inch alloy wheels. S line models now get full LED headlights as standard. The Matrix LED Beam headlights that debuted on the Audi A8 are also available as an option.
A new Technology Pack has also been introduced featuring MMI Navigation plus, Audi Connect, Bose surround sound, head up display and a reverse camera.

The Audi A6 is available to order now and will begin arriving at dealerships in November 2014. Its entry price in Ireland will be €44,750 and it will be available on PCP through Audi Finance from €429 per month.
