Well that’s what four close friends from Ballinasloe in Galway are aiming to do this May Bank Holiday weekend, all in aid of a great cause. What makes their attempt even more impressive, is that they are planning to complete the 1450km round trip in a bright pink-coloured Nissan Micra!
Raising funds for the Irish Cancer Society and the Oncology Unit in Portiuncula Hospital, the ‘Driving Me Pink’ team will start their nationwide journey on Friday April 29th, and will hopefully complete it within 24 hours. Speaking recently, they said “We plan to take a photo on entry of every county so our progress can be followed with constant updates and photos on our Facebook Page on the day.”
