Hello, I currently own a 08 1.8 diseal hatch back Ford Focus and thinking of changing. I do about 20,000 miles a year. I need something reliable, comfortable on rough rds efficient as I drive mostly in the country with a little motorway driving. Not sure should I get something 2-3 years old or go new. What cars would you recommend? Should I stick with a hatch back or go for a saloon or a cross over? Thanks in advance for your advoice.
Hi John,
If you’re dealing with bad roads a lot it’s nice to have the extra bit of ride height that comes with a crossover. Have a look at the Skoda Yeti – it’s a terrific all-rounder and affordable to run. Well made and reliable too.
