All current seven-seat family MPVs meet the maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety standard, so there's no real difference there. Our favourite current MPV is the Volkswagen Touran, which is roomy, safe and not at all bad to drive. Worth trying the Citroen C4 Picasso too, which is comfortable. Also try the Toyota Verso and the Renault Scenic. If you need something bigger, try a Ford S-Max or SEAT Alhambra.
