Volkswagen Golf remains most searched for model on Carzone.ie

Volkswagen has overtaken BMW as the most searched for car marque

'08 is still the most searched for model year

Black is most searched for car colour

91% of learner drivers pass their test within two attempts

Commenting on the findings of the report, Warren Cray, general manager at Carzone.ie, said: &lldquo; Now in its fifth edition, the Carzone.ie Motoring Report has given another fascinating insight into the Irish motor market and specifically into the mind set of Irish motorists and consumers. As we are seeing a clear increase in consumer confidence with used car transactions and new car registrations, the findings of our report show us what the consumer is looking for when buying a car. This ranges from make, model, fuel type and much more.”
