Available in three specifications with Advance, Sport and Premiere Edition, prices will start from €43,402 or €444 per month on with Toyota Easy PCP with Toyota Financial Services Ireland. The first BEV model to be developed by Toyota, a limited allocation of online reservations for the bZ4X will open from today.
Toyota expects that the 2022 bZ4X allocation will be pre-sold before its arrival in June and customers are encouraged to order online and talk to their local dealership early to avoid disappointment. The bZ4X strengthens Toyota’s multi-technology approach to meet different mobility requirements by offering customers a full line-up of electrified vehicles, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles.
The bZ4X has a new all-wheel drive system that provides excellent off-road handling and performance, with separate electric motors for each axle. Inside, a seven-inch TFT instrument and information display sit directly in the driver’s forward eyeline, above the line of the steering wheel, so that metres can be viewed with minimal eye movement for an intuitive driving experience.
Toyota has drawn on almost 25 years’ experience in electrified vehicle battery technology to secure world-leading quality, durability and reliability for the lithium-ion unit which powers the bZ4X. With a fully charged battery, the new model has an expected range of more than 450 kilometres. Even after 10 years of driving, the battery is targeted to still operate at 90% of its original performance.
