Three-day test drives from Opel

What's the news?
Opel wants drivers to get to know its products by taking a three-day test drive. There are further incentives for people who go on to buy a car.

Participants need to register through Opel's web site opel.ie or with participating dealers; dates and times are flexible but are subject to availability. Once in the system details are passed to a dealership where a representative will make contact to finalise arrangements for the test drive.

After the test drive participants qualify for one year's free road tax and five years' warranty on a car purchase.

Anything else?
Customers can also take advantage of Opel Choices Finance, a personal contract plan (PCP). Deposits can be as low as 7% of the retail price and there is a guaranteed future value. At the end of the finance term there are, as the name suggests, choices: 'Take it' by paying the balance to keep the car; 'Leave it' and hand the car back with nothing more to pay; or 'Change it' for a new Opel under a new contract plan.
