Suzuki reveals all-new small car

Suzuki will give a European debut to its all-new contender for the A-segment at the Geneva Motor Show in March, named the Celerio.

Suzuki will give a European debut to its all-new contender for the A-segment at the Geneva Motor Show in March, named the Celerio.

The model has already been previewed at Delhi's Auto Expo, although the Celerio shown in Switzerland will be the European specification car.

The Celerio is 3,600mm long and 1,600mm wide, and is scheduled to take on cars such as Hyundai's excellent new i10. Suzuki says the Celerio will have an 'exceptionally roomy' interior and low CO2 emissions.

Mechanicals
No exact word on motive power as yet, but at its Indian premiere it was announced there would only be petrol versions available, with no diesel option. More details will be revealed at Geneva.

Anything else?
Suzuki will bring a wide range of models to display at Geneva, including the Alto, Splash, Swift, Swift Sport, SX4 S-Cross, Jimny and Grand Vitara.
