Renault's new 'scrappage' offer

To coincide with the UEFA Euro 12 championships Renault has announced a new scrappage deal, called 'Scrapattoni'.

Customers who trade in a car aged eight years or older against a new Renault will get an extra €1,500 on top of the current offer and an added bonus of a five-year unlimited mileage warranty. Also for the month of June, customers can avail of 0 per cent APR finance offers from Renault Finance.

"Scrappage worked for the motor industry in Ireland," says Eric Basset, Managing Director of Renault Ireland. "Renault wants to again give customers a chance to cash in on their old vehicles and to purchase a brand new Renault with the added bonus of 5 years unlimited mileage warranty and great 0% APR finance offers. If the Government won't bring it back then it's up to us to bring scrappage back!"

A new advertising campaign including TV, radio, press and online will kick off tomorrow with the timely Scrapattoni Scrappage Deal and the Renault Reporter.
