See all Motoring NewsRenault Belgard, a local dealership in Dublin, has won the Carzone sponsorship for their chosen sports team, Crumlin GAA. Crumlin GAA is a community based club that has been operating out of Pearse Park in the heart of Crumlin for over 50 years. Crumlin GAA is a local club that caters for the sporting needs for both Children and Adults, the club is a strong pillar of the community. The lucky football team recently received an extensive set of sponsored kit which consists of personalised jerseys, tops and bags. The new gear is a welcome boost for the rising stars of the club.
Crumlin GAA’s juvenile section has 14 active teams (Boys and Girls) along with an underage crèche which in total caters for 140+ children in the local area. In addition to their junior teams the club also has 5 strong Adult teams (Male and Female). Their Junior Football team is currently taking part in the Leinster Junior Football Championship and despite a slow start in the league, they are building up nicely towards a strong finish and hopefully a top 4 playoff spot.
Their senior and junior hurlers are on the cusp of qualifying for the quarter finals of their respective championships and the U16 footballers recently made it to the final of their championship for the first time since 2001 and are hoping to go one better in the hurling championship.

The competition is being run by Carzone, who have been calling on car dealers nationwide to nominate their local sports team of choice. This sponsorship initiative will see several sports clubs receive their very own branded kit courtesy of their local car dealership over the next few months, giving car dealerships the opportunity to support their local community.
