Ford launches new-look Fiesta van

The all-new Ford Fiesta Van has arrived in Ireland with prices starting from €14,620 and sub-100g/km emissions.

The all-new Ford Fiesta Van has arrived in Ireland with prices starting from €14,620 and sub-100g/km emissions for diesel powered variants.

Despite its diminutive looks the Fiesta Van has a handy 1.0 cubic metre load space and a cargo compartment that features a secure steel bulkhead and four cargo tie-down hooks, plus a tough rubber floor mat and durable sidewall trim.

Factor in the Fiesta's handling prowess and you begin to understand why Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland reckons the new van is "...a stylish mobile workshop...that  local tradesmen and urban delivery fleets will appreciate its sharp, professional looks, while relying on its versatility, dependability and exceptionally low running costs."

Those running costs relate, not only to the sub-100g/km for diesel engines, but also low fuel consumption of 3.7 litres/100km (76.3mpg). These figures are achieved not only by the 96hp 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel but also by the new 75hp 1.5-litre TDCi unit that has just been introduced to the range.

Also introduced is Ford's latest range of driver assistance and safety features including Ford MyKey, Ford SYNC, Active City Stop, Hill Launch Assist, Easy Fuel and Rear View Camera.

In Ireland, the vehicle is available in three series, Fiesta Van (from €14,620) Trend Van (€16,790) and the Sport Van priced from €18,990.
