You’re looking at the Conti GT from 2004 being worth about €32,000 to €35,000 for its Open Market Selling Price; with its CO2 output, you’ll be paying top whack on the percentages, so 36 per cent of its value – that means between €11,520 and €12,600 in VRT. However, we would couch this in terms of the fact it will very much depend on the day as to how the car will be assessed for OMSP; it may be that the car is deemed to be worth less, reducing the VRT bill.
