If the car has been well maintained and looked after then you'd hope that not much will go wrong, but there's no denying that parts for the premium brands - such as BMW - are more expensive. Only you know your budget, but ask yourself if you could afford a few grand a year on servicing and maintenance and if anything unexpected comes up.
