Does my Astra have a timing chain?
I have a Vauxhall Astra l.4 petrol,it's 6 years old and has done around 43,000 miles, does it have a timing chain , and MOT is due. Does it need a new timing chain/cambelt?

That engine has a timing chain, not a cambelt. Chains don't generally come with a set replacement schedule. They only get changed if they develop an issue - such as excessive noise.
