The biggest factor here is the OMSP (Open Market Selling Price) that Revenue will place on the car. It's not an easy thing to predict and it will vary considerably from vehicle to vehicle, even of the same type, as it depends on specification and condition, etc. Taking a look around at similar cars for sale here now, the OMSP could be as high as €40,000, so let's take that as the basis for our calculations. 

Coming from the North, you shouldn't have to pay import duty or VAT, just VRT, but that won't be cheap as that car will be in the highest VRT band, at 37 per cent. Assuming an OMSP of €40,000, the VRT bill would be €14,800. The NOx levy has to be paid on top of that, which is likely to be the maximum €600 for that car.
