Best Audi for a young driver?
What is the best Audi for 17 year old? Hi, my son has just passed the test and is a novice, he is keen on buying an Audi. His max budget would be 16k, 20k at a push if he gets a good deal. The Audi would have to be not too big and not too small, and reliable. Which model would you personally suggest? Thanks

Hi Callum,
The best model would be an A1 hatchback with the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, but even with that engine you’re going to get hit very hard for insurance for a young driver on an Audi. Even the relatively smaller-engined models will be regarded as ‘sporty’ cars and the premium will reflect that.
